WEC 6 Hours of Spa Francochamps
The first weekend of summer in Europe and we were served a treat at one of the worlds most beautiful motorport venues, Spa Francochamps.
With Porsche Super Cup Benelux and Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe supporting we got to enjoy a schedule at Spa was packed with racing.
The race itself was the longest ever 6 hour race, lasting nearly 8 hours in total. This was due to a red flag caused by the Cadillac misjudging an overtake on a GT3 lasting nearly 2 hours.
Unfortuanetly for me as a Ferrari fan the additon of time back on the clock meant the Ferraris were not destined for a win! The same can be said for the Iron Dames who came so close to winning but missed out.
